Collaborate for a Cause 2016

Hi Everyone

It’s that time of the year again…the time of year when a bunch of handmade businesses work together and collaborate to create some amazing items that are auctioned off (online) to raise money for charity!

This year I had the pleasure of teaming up with some wonderful pattern designer friends  including, Little Moo Designs, Two Pretty Poppets, Lorelei Jayne and Gypsy Boho Designs (aka Handbag Hardware Australia).

We each have made a bag from our pattern range to donate towards the auction and raise money for the Sew Powerful Purse Project.

I decided to make my Peekaboo Clutch pattern (a convertible clutch) for the Collaboration, I used Lavish Fabric (designed by Katarina Roccella) which was kindly supplied by Bella’s Patchwork.

This larger style clutch goes easily from day to night – carry it as a tote, or fold it over, snap the tab to hold the handles in place and carry it as a clutch! It really is a perfect bag for the lady who craves versatility!

I paired it with a lovely and soft cream marine vinyl, and inside you will find a slip and zip pocket.

If you would like to find out more about the auction, the items that will be available and how to bid, please visit Collaborate For A Cause.  The Auction will take place on Friday 29th July at 8pm AEST and finish on Sunday 31st July at 8pm AEST.

Happy bidding 😉
Emma
