Me! Thats who 😉

So here is your little sneak peek of my new pattern The Cozy For Eternity Scarf + Cuff  (full pattern to be released later in 2017).

My article in One Thimble Issue 14* includes:

  • My Eternity Scarf Tutorial
    and
  • 2 Cuff Styles (well 3 really so you can make the 2 styles in Woven Fabric or Leather!)

Style 1 can be made in either Woven Fabric or Leather

Style 2 was designed to be made out of Leather

However if you wanted too, you could make this one partially out of Woven Fabric and only use a smaller amount of Leather (ie. for the decorative detail).

The Cozy For Eternity Scarf+Cuff pattern allows you to create the perfect scarf that can be used the whole year round! Make the scarf in light/medium woven fabrics like voile, poplin, quilting cotton or even knits for the perfect accessory. This would not be a true Emkie Designs Pattern without some flair…and with 5 Cuff options there is plenty of flair included in this versatile pattern that has the perfect accessory option whatever your mood! The cuffs are removable and a great finishing touch to the Cozy for Eternity Scarf (or even another scarf in your closet). Even better, because this Scarf + Cuff pattern is a quick sew, it is the perfect gift to make for all your friends!

Let’s have a look at the amazing Testers versions…

This is Rebecca‘s amazing patchwork version! I just love how both the scarf and the cuff have patchwork included 🙂 Rebecca said, “I loved how fast the pattern came together even though I did a patchwork style scarf. I was wearing it shopping today and the checkout lady asked me where I got it from I said I made it!”

Casey made this wonderful version in Black, White and Neon Green – what a perfect combination! Casey said “It was a well written pattern. I like the way the cuffs are finished, and the way it suits the scarf.”

Charlotte made this amazing version in cotton and faux fur!  Because faux fur was used the cuff measurement needed some adjustment to fit the thickness of the scarf 😉 Charlotte said “I love it !! this is such a quick sew, just perfect as a last minute gift or accessory to match your daily out t. I love that you can change the cuffs and colour match them to what you’re wearing… just perfect!”

Danielle made this lovely version – I just LOVE the mustard paired with the grey…
Danielle said “I love the pattern! I’ve already made one for my aunty for her birthday in a few weeks 🙂 I’ve never made an infinity scarf before and now I can make them easily!”

Jane made this amazing version – I just love it in blue and black (not a combination I would usually go for!) Jane said “What a quick and easy pattern with such a lovely result! Had I known how easy it was to get cuffs together when I was a goth-y teenager…oh well! I definitely see whipping these up as gifts.”

Toni made this fabulous version!  It’s totally my colours and I wish she lived closer so I could steal it – lol 😉 Toni said “Loved it! Can’t wait to make some more. I love the variety of cuffs and the versatility and variables you can create with different colours/styles of cuff.”

Susan made this beautiful version, the metal snaps are the perfect colour match for the oranges she has used in her scarf <3

Susan said “The pattern was very easy to make and would make great gifts. I like that!”

Maria made this incredibly snuggly version, in one fabric rather than two.  As you can see she also used faux fur for her scarf – modelled by her beautiful daughter! Maria said “I loved sewing this pattern! It’s so versatile! You can use different fabrics to make different scarfs for all year round and then use the same cuffs or interchange between them! I chose a very cozy faux fur fabric because weather is really chilly here these days, but I’m already dreaming of a new scarf in gauze for spring or summer.”

Melisa made this amazing version (I just love this Bari J fabric!)

Liz made this cute Zebra version in Jersey fabrics.  Also how adorable is her puppy dog <3

Margareth made this lovely version – such a beautiful colour combination 🙂

Well that’s it for now 😉

As this pattern has 5 Cuff options, I’ll be keeping the rest of the photos under wraps for now…but I will leave you with this little pattern cover sneak peek…

As I said you can grab your copy of One Thimble Issue 14* right now and peruse the excerpt of my Cozy For Eternity Scarf + Cuff pattern that is included…or you can wait and purchase the full pattern in my shops later in 2017 😉

Have a great week everyone, happy sewing!
