If you follow me on IG or F you will already know that I revealed a little secret last week…I have a new pattern! This new pattern is called the Wild & Raw Pouch, and this pattern will be joining my Emkie Lite range in late August as a PDF.
(Thanks to Mitzi for the Hairy Hide Pouch pictured on the cover!)
If you would like this pattern before then you will have to go shopping at Cotton Factory and purchase a PAPER version! Yes that’s right folks, I’m in print 🙂
How cute does this A5 booklet look in its little Cellophane bag?!
This is my 1st specifically designed for print pattern – and I’m so proud of it!
This pattern has been designed to be made with leather (vinyl etc. may be used instead – but this one is not able to be made in fabric, sorry guys!) and can be sewn on the machine or by hand!!!!
This is my 1st full diagram (rather than colour instructional photos) pattern, although if you have the Hippo Clutch Wallet pattern you will have seen a sneak peek of my diagrams in there…But for those of you who want a sneak peek of the diagrams included in this pattern just have a look (right)…
Here is a little video I made from my IG Stories, I’m talking about this new pattern 😉
Let me tell you a little about this great little pattern…
The Wild & Raw Pouch is a fantastic project to get your feet wet if you have never worked with leather before! The finished pouch is great to grab and go, while looking stylish. The pattern will help you create a professional pouch which you can customise to make your own. The Wild & Raw Pouch is quick make so is ideal for gifts or for whipping up inventory items at a lower price point for your business.
This Wild & Raw Pouch was Machine Sewn, and
has been made using Kangaroo leather!

This Wild & Raw Pouch was Hand Sewn, and
has been made using Cow Hide (Upholstery weight leather)!

The finished size of The Wild & Raw Pouch measures approximately 10” wide x 6″ tall (27cm wide x 16.5cm tall). This Pouch has been designed to be made using Leather, however Faux Leather/Vinyl can be used instead.
This is a great pattern to try if you’ve never worked with leather before too! Because you can learn how to hand stitch or machine sew leather in this pattern, while not needing much of this expensive material because the Pouch is on the small side, but can still fit your phone, keys etc.
I can’t wait to show you the testers versions made with this pattern – they can truly show you just how customisable this pattern really is, it’s fabulous for feeding creativity and being such a quick sew, you won’t be able to stop at one…But I have to save something for the PDF release in August 😉
If you want a sneak peek at the tester versions, make sure you are following along on IG or F !
Until next time,
