Last week I decided to go on a leather shopping adventure and thought you all might like to come along with me!
First thing first, I got the Kiddies sorted and shipped off for the afternoon – thanks mum!
Then I needed to work out where I wanted to shop, I decided to visit Leffler Leather because it is a 5 min drive from Hubby’s work and I knew that if I took the train into the city I could steal his car to get there 😉
I also know how tempting all the pretty leathers are…so I went with a list, I
wanted needed a nice light grey and a nice tan that wasn’t too “orange-y”. With my list in hand, I set off…
After my train ride, I headed over to Hubby’s office and stole his car to head over to Leffler Leather…
Upon arrival you are surrounded by beautiful leathers, below are a few of my favourites…
How amazing are they?! But I was after some sheep and/or Kangaroo because my sewing machine really does prefer these types – although I really do love sewing with Cow hide too!
Yes my friends…I had all these beauties to look though! And that wall was JUST the Sheep and Kangaroo! This is why I went with a list…I could have bought one of everything 😉
Ok…so I didn’t stick to my list, but I did get the tan one that isn’t too “orange-y”(sheep), I was looking for! I just couldn’t leave the butter yellow (sheep) or hot pink (kangaroo) behind 😉
After I finished with hubby’s car it was knock off time for him, so we went to a local pub for a quick drink with a few of his work mates…and LOOK what I found there!
It was a lovely afternoon, and although I walked away with only one of the leathers on my list, I am super happy with my purchase and can’t wait to get creating with them all really soon.
Hope you enjoyed coming on this shopping trip with me 🙂
