The Panic Clutch

$10.95

The Panic Clutch is a very quick project – it took my testers between 1 and 3 hours to complete the bag. That time includes: printing the pattern, cutting the fabric, applying the interfacing and sewing the bag.

The flap, as a “classy and unique ” shape – yep that is what one of my wonderful testers said about the shape of the flap!

Because of the quick sewing time and “classy” nature of this bag, many of my testers made 2 Panic clutches during the testing period. I think the panic clutch would make a great gift for a friend or family member, and it would even make a fantastic item for those of you who sell your makes at markets or in your online stores too 🙂

Now let me tell you about the Panic Clutch’s wonderful features:
– It is a fantastic size, not to big and not to small, measuring approximately 6¼” tall x 10¾” wide (15cm x 27cm).
– It has a feature flap, which you could make from Leather, Faux Leather or Fabric.
– If has a top zip closure AND a pretty twist lock (on the flap).
– Inside you will find a slip pocket.

The Panic Clutch is classed as a “Beginner – Confident Beginner” level pattern. The only part of the bag construction that moves it in the direction of “Confident Beginner” is the top zip closure and installation of the twist lock – all of which you are talked though within the pattern, and I have also included some great colour photos for you to follow – because of all this, you might choose to tackle your 1st zip and twist lock!
